Exhibition of silk sarees crafted by skilled artisans at Himachal Bhawan till February 27

  Chandigarh :  Handloom India Exhibition with the latest variety and designs of fine silk and cotton handloom sarees, for the summer and wedding season, has started at Himachal Bhawan, Sec 28 here. The showcase will continue till February 27. The sarees on display are crafted by experienced and skilled craftsmen from across the country. Jayesh Gupta who is organising the exhibition by getting all original artisans from all over the country under one roof said, "Lavish sarees and dress materials, brought from all parts of the country, are showcased in the exhibition. Silk sarees are available in a variety of designs, patterns and colour combinations. At the same time, a captivating collection of fashion jewelry is also on display. Gujarat 's Handmade Patola Sarees are available in the range of Rs 15 thousand to 2 lakhs, each piece of this variety  takes eight months to prepare. Somany Home Innovation deliveres consolidated revenue from operations

  Chandigarh : Somany Home Innovation Limited (SHIL), the Consumer Appliances and Building Products Company, today announced its financial results for the quarter ended December 31st, 2021. SHIL reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 649 crore, registering a growth of 26% on a Y-o-Y basis compared to Rs 517 crore in the same quarter last year. EBITDA recorded a growth of 6% Y-o-Y and increased to Rs 62 crore in Q3 FY22. PBT grew by 5% Y-o-Y during the quarter. The Building Products Division continues to move from strength to strength, on the back of the strong performance of its businesses i.e. Sanitaryware, faucets, and plastic pipes and fittings businesses. The Building Products Segment delivered another robust quarter with Revenue from Operations and EBIT coming in at Rs.496 crore and Rs.46 crore respectively.
